From a cool year and based on slowly ripening grapes that were picked around mid-October, the 2021 Riesling has a discreet, rather cool but dense and complex aroma of concentrated fruits intertwined with floral, herbal and slatey as well as yeasty notes. The palate is racy and lean on the attack, with finely tightening phenolics, but this is a rich, dense, juicy Riesling with a pithy structure and citric freshness on the long-lasting finish.
