Tasting notes
The 2017 Chardonnay is clear and flinty on the intense, precise and finely reductive nose that reveals some smoked fruit and speck aromas as well as lemony notes. The combination of lemony and crunchy flinty notes even reminds me of the 2018 and 2020 Riesling. Very elegant and refined on the palate, this is a full-bodied, very intense and expansive yet pure and refreshing as well as grippy mineral Chardonnay of great class and tensioned richness.
